Membership fees
Valley of Peterborough · as of January 2025
The Valley of Peterborough consists of two separate and distinct bodies — the Lodge of Perfection (degrees 4–14) and the Chapter of Rose Croix (degrees 15–18). Fees are payable separately to each body prior to receiving that body's degrees.
Lodge of Perfection — payable prior to the 4th degree
Commuted Dues (Life Member) — $750
Paid in one lump sum, or spread over 2 years at $275/year (includes a $75 administrative fee). The first
installment is due prior to the 4th degree and includes the initiation fee. Commuted dues members pay no
further annual dues.
Dues Paying Member — $150 joining fee
Plus $75/year annual dues starting in year two, payable by January 1 each year.
Affiliation (transferring from another Valley)
$100 for a dues-paying membership (includes first-year dues), or $700 for a commuted dues membership
($100 affiliation + $600 commutation).
Chapter of Rose Croix — payable prior to the 15th degree
Commuted Dues (Life Member) — $750
Same terms as the Lodge of Perfection: one lump sum, or 2 years at $275/year (includes a $75 administrative
fee), due prior to the 15th degree. No further annual dues.
Dues Paying Member — $150 joining fee
Plus $75/year annual dues starting in year two, payable by January 1 each year.
Affiliation (transferring from another Valley)
$100 for a dues-paying membership (includes first-year dues), or $700 for a commuted dues membership
($100 affiliation + $600 commutation).
Examples
Taking all degrees from the 4th to the 18th as a Commuted Dues (Life) member: $1,500 total — $750 to the Lodge of Perfection and $750 to the Chapter of Rose Croix.
Taking all degrees from the 4th to the 18th as a Dues Paying member: $300 total — $150 to the Lodge of Perfection and $150 to the Chapter of Rose Croix.
The Lodge of Perfection is a separate body from the Chapter of Rose Croix, which is why two fees apply.

Chapter of Rose Croix Easter observance
Spring Reunion is the Saturday before Easter, followed by a Maundy Thursday observance and an Easter Sunday morning breakfast.
